PIKES PEAK WRITERS CONFERENCE SPONSORSHIPS

You're invited to be a sponsor for the 2024 Pikes Peak Writers Conference held this year from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 at the Doubletree Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO.   We are celebrating our 31st year and expect up to 400 attendees, 80% of which are from Colorado.  We'll connect you with them via a variety of packages, which begin at $200 and include branded engagement with more than 4,700 of our Facebook fans.

The Pikes Peak Writers Conference was founded in 1993 by author Jimmie Butler.  The inaugural conference centered on "Useful Tips for Writing Commercial Fiction" and enjoyed sponsorship by the Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District and The Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration.  Today, the 3-day fiction writing conference is for writers of all levels, featuring workshops, acquiring editors/agents, and well-known authors across a variety of genres.

DONOR OPPORTUNITIES 


Please note that ALL sponsorship packages, including a la carte and author/personal options will also include a public thank you during announcements.


Donations to auction - any item(s) from gift cards to products that your company would like to donate to be sold during the silent auction. 


Provide door prizes - any item(s) from gift cards to products to coupons/discount codes that your company would like to donate as prizes to be given away in rooms during the conference.

Business Sponsorship Options

  • - Include an item in attendee swag bags (tissues, lip balm, hand sanitizer, screen cleaners, bookmarks, etc.)

Event & Item Sponsorship A La Carte Options

Additional event or item sponsorship as listed below can be purchased on their own or added to another sponsorship package for additional value.  Sponsored of limited events and items will be on a first-come basis.  Sponsorship of events and items with multiple opportunities (e.g. meals, tables) can be purchased multiple times.

Get your logo/name in front of attendees and/or faculty even more prevalently!

  • A sign will be placed in the green room recognizing your donation and will be seen by faculty and staff of the event. Get your brand in front of some big names, authors, agents, and more! Donations will be used to contribute beverages, water, food items, such as fruit baskets/platters or snacks and/or breakfast in the green room.

  • A sign will be included in a room being used during the conference recognizing your donation and will be seen by attendees of the event hosted in the room. The room choice for this option is randomly selected.

  • - Ten posts will be made on our social media page leading up to the conference
    - These posts will include your choice of imaging (logo, book cover, or author headshot), a thank you and links, if desired, to your website (or social media tagging).

  • A amazing prize or two will be offered via drawing to attendees. The lottery will be advertised as sponsored by your brand and your logo will be included on any tickets, if applicable, as well as marked on the prize. Your advertising information will be included on/with the item.

  • Signage/table tent will be included on a single table at a meal during the conference. Table assignments are randomly selected. A chance for your brand to become a centerpiece during one of the talkative and social times of the conference.

  • Your brand will be featured on the schedule as sponsor for this event and signage will be included in the room where the event takes place. All attendees will be exposed to your brand and marketing materials may be provided to be placed on tables at the event.

  • Your brand will be featured on the schedule as a sponsor of the software being used, will be included in multiple locations on the SCHED application, and will be prevalent in event scheduling advertisements.

  • - Signage will be placed in the room during the event indicating you as a sponsor.
    - Napkins for this event will be printed with your logo!
    - Opportunity will be given for few minutes of speaking to attendees.
    - Opportunity to provide swag items to attendees of this event. Get your name out to the many attendees who participate in this event (one of the most popular and fun ones at the conference!) A HUGE opportunity for visibility for your brand!

  • Stickers will be placed on wine bottles indicating that you sponsored the bottles for the meal.

  • Table tents will be prominently displayed on tables indicating that you have sponsored the dessert for that meal.

  • - Signage will be displayed noting that you have sponsored the event.
    - Napkins will be printed with your logo!
    - Your logo will be printed on drink tickets for this event!

  • - Signage will be placed on snack tables noting that you have sponsored the event.
    - Napkins will be printed with your logo!

  • - Table tents will be placed mentioning you as the sponsor of the meal.
    - You will be thanked publicly during the meal announcements.
    - Napkins with your logos will be printed and placed at all tables.

Designed specifically for personal contributors or authors who would like to get their name out to our attendees!

  • - Provide swag to be included in attendee bags (business cards, chapstick, pens, etc.)
    - Option to provide free copies of your print books in attendee bags
    - Option to provide free copies of your digital book to attendees via the digital swag bag
    - Option to provide additional swag and marketing materials for the sponsorship table at the conference

  • - All the options from "Groovy Package"
    PLUS
    - Provide business cards to be placed beside water coolers in rooms (room assignment for this choice will be randomly selected)
    - One social media "thank you" post leading up to the conference, which will include a link of your choice (to your own social media, website or sale page)

  • - All the options from "Hippie Package"
    PLUS
    - Additional two social media posts (for a total of three posts) leading up to conference
    - Signage in the book store noting you as a sponsor and listing social media accounts and/or website link (please note that this does not include the option to sell your books in the bookstore, however, more information on how to become a seller can be found on the PPWC website)
    - One small "door prize" will be purchased and noted as a contribution from your sponsorship when given out (method of winning will be randomly selected and may include door drawings, scavenger hunts, or other games)
    - Option to donate up to three print copies of your book for additional "door prizes"
